Our team

One of the most important keys in the development of the stud is our human team. We have a team of great professionals, who with empathy, union and collaboration pursue a common goal. People who daily put all their effort, love and passion to develop an activity as beautiful as the breeding and training of the Purebred Spanish Horse.

Management team

The general manager of Yeguada Vergara is Miguel Vergara Blanco, since he is the person in charge of the management and organization of all the activities of the stud.

The general secretary of Yeguada Vergara is María Vergara Blanco, since she is the right hand and the only person capable of replacing or substituting the general manager due to her knowledge of everything that takes place within the stud.

Rogelio Medina Hernández is the director or in charge of all the facilities of Yeguada Vergara, since he is in charge of making sure that everything is well cared for and that nothing is missing in order to carry out all the activities of the stud. He has a long and full professional career. More than 20 years together with the business activity of the family that owns the stud farm endorse him.

Administrative team AND VETERINARY

Raquel García is our head of the administrative department more specialized in everything related to documentation. Such as, for example: guides or traces of transfer of the animals, continuous communication with the different veterinary units or state delegations, book of exploitation, etc.

Daniel Vicente is our veterinary technician specialized in all aspects of health control (vaccinations and deworming).

Dressage equipment

Adrián Robles Gómez is the main rider of the stud, in charge of the technical supervision of the training of all the horses in the facilities. He also has a significant influence on the decisions taken when choosing the breeding lines or the different competition tests carried out by the competition horses.

He has a long career in the world of horses and more specifically in the field of dressage, with more than 10 years working together with a great rider recognized as Alberto García Briñón. In addition to training with other riders of great prestige as Juan Antonio Jimenez Cobos or Guillermo Garcia Ayala. He has also obtained the Galope 7 certificate and is a sports technician.

Pablo Castaño is responsible for ensuring that all the animals that are in the field (mares, colts and fillies up to 3 years old) are in perfect condition and can carry out their development in the best possible way. This involves the daily supervision of feeding or vitamin supplements, control of running water in good condition, intervention with the veterinarian if necessary, docility and improvement of the character of the animals, that all animals are as beautiful as possible (shearing or hoof trimming), first training of the basic dressage stable, etc.. He has the same responsibility in the stable with the horses and maintenance of the facilities, such as ensuring that the automatic feeding system works properly, that the riding equipment is always impeccable, etc. He is also responsible for the daily training of several horses in the stable under the supervision of Adrián Robles Gómez.

Maintenance equipment

In the maintenance team we have two people for all the maintenance of the facilities, such as daily cleaning of the horses’ beds 365 days/year, repair of the fences, electrical maintenance, movement of fodder and animal feeders in the field, irrigation control of the different training tracks, maintenance of the extraction dummy and the reproduction dummy, etc. Joaquín Sánchez and Gastón Tilcara are essential in the stud for its proper functioning. We also count on Antonio Manuel Calderón, Miguel García and Juanma Sánchez to complement these tasks.

Marketing and communications team

Verónica (responsible for RRSS and Graphic Design) is in charge of everything related to the social networks of the stud farm, that is, the management of all social networks where she carries out marketing plans following the strategic line that we want to transmit from the idea of the stud farm. Publications in the different social networks, analysis of results, market research, organization of visual media, etc. At the same time, he is in charge of the graphic design of everything related to the stud farm, such as the logo, merchandising, promotional materials like flyers, roll up, business cards, etc.

1º. Veterinary technician specialized in diagnosis and revision of lameness. 2º. Veterinary technician specialized in osteochondrosis and muscular treatments. 3º. Veterinary technician specialized in equine dentistry treatments. 4º. Veterinary technician specialized in equine osteopathy. 5º. Veterinary technician specialized in equine reproduction.

Blacksmiths

1º. Farrier for farm animals, both mares and foals. 2º. Farrier for stabled horses more focused on competition.

Trainers
